The religious wedding of Gianmaria and Federica took place in the square in front of the small church located within the grounds of Villa Bonifati in Castrovillari. It is possible to celebrate a religious wedding at Villa Bonifati, as well as a civil ceremony. The bride and groom, after getting ready in their respective homes in Cosenza (Gianmaria lives downtown near Via Alimena) and Rende (Federica lives on Viale dei Giardini), on a very hot July day, shared this important moment of their lives with their closest friends and family, surrounded by nature and bathed in the poetic light of the setting sun. The photos from this wedding, in my opinion, encapsulate all the simplicity and essence of the couple, and it’s as if even the light that graced us that day was aware of Gianmaria and Federica’s noble and sincere souls.

Villa Bonifati is a historic residence ideal for wedding receptions and one of the most prestigious ceremony locations in Calabria. Located in the heart of the “Vigne” area of Castrovillari, it is an elegant estate currently owned by Aldo and Rosetta Bonifati and managed by the De Marco brothers. It was originally built by the Marquis Gallo around the 1800s. Characterized by a central building surrounded by a large park and an entrance avenue lined with vineyards, Villa Bonifati also features a swimming pool with a truly enchanting space, perfect for hosting your wedding celebrations on summer evenings.
