I am a wedding photographer in Cosenza and one of the locations where I often find myself photographing the love of beautiful couples getting married is La Filanda dei Quintieri in Carolei.
The month of September in Calabria gives us always nice and warm days in which we do not worry like the hot days of June and July, but you can enjoy a balanced temperature from morning until night. The wedding of Mattia and Federica took place on one of these splendid days between the sparkling preparations carried out in their home in Cosenza, and the ceremony and reception that took place in Carolei. I also absolutely have to start telling this wedding by saying that there was an affinity with the spouses immediately, certainly dictated by our common passion for music. This made my participation in this event more intense. In fact Mattia is a singer and Federica, although she works as an English language teacher, in reality she is a more than talented singing interpreter !!! On the other hand, music is at home in Fede’s family, in fact his brother is also a singer who you can find on the net with the stage name Tricanico. If you have already watched the gallery of images you will surely have noticed, in addition to the numerical abundance, the diversity of moments that I was able to photograph was unprecedented. I wanted to be generous with this gallery because all the moments captured were worthy of being published and the selection was very difficult.

The wedding of Mattia and Federica took place in the splendid framing of La Filanda dei Quintieri in Carolei, a picturesque village very close to Cosenza. La Filanda is a place consisting of three buildings that were active in the nineteenth century for the production and processing of silk. The interior spaces are in fact obtained in what were originally the rooms used for the cultivation of silkworms and its processing. In addition to these interior spaces, where the stone walls welcome people by taking a step back in time, the surrounding gardens offer ever new glimpses and ideas for the couple portrait session.
