It was may 2024 when Alex first reach out to me asking for a quote for a surprise proposal in Italy. He never replied to me until July when he decided to do the engagement photo in Puglia Alberobello and wrote back to me. First of all let me address one thing: in my opinion it doesn’t make any sense to shoot an engagement session the day before your destination wedding in Puglia. I suggest you to capture the essence of the moment and your feelings as soon as you got engaged in any part of the world. This will create timeless memories for you and your legacy to come. And a little addition: you will be able to use your engagement photos on various occasions before your wedding day arrives.
If you are dreaming of organizing a fantastic trip to Italy then consider setting aside some time to visit Puglia and its wonderful cities full of history, traditions, culture and excellent food.
You certainly can’t miss Ostuni “the white city” (La città Bianca), Polignano a Mare with its cliffs overlooking the sea and octopus sandwiches, and obviously Alberobello and its characteristic little houses “Trulli di Alberobello” which have become a UNESCO world heritage site.

If you are shy like Alex and reserved like Sabrina, it is not necessary to immortalize the proposal moment in photos (even if the reaction of your beloved to the proposal is something you would like to see again every second) but you can think of doing it in an intimate place and without people: it is impossible to make a marriage proposal in a beautiful public place in Italy without people around.
